Winter Wedding Card

What if snow and ice could be blue and purple.  This holographic confetti is the winter background to this wedding themed card.

This card was made in layers with die cuts from MFT and Simon Says Stamp dies. The inside sentiment is from Newton’s Nook stamp set that can be found HERE.

Behind that forest cut out is holographic confetti glued to the back card stock and looks like shattered ice in the winter time and gives a gravity defying look, the opposite goal of a shaker card!

Rainbow Bridge

This card was made entirely from one stamp set from Newton’s Nook called Furr-Ever Friends that can be bought HERE.  This set is great in showing your sincere care for a loved ones loss of a beloved cat or dog! The background is a pattern paper of a sky and I took the heart made out of paw prints and stamped it out multiple times in rainbow color with Momento Ink and making it in an arch as a partial rainbow.  Both the sentiment and dog image was stamped in Versafine black onyx ink.  This card panel was adhered to a pre-cut and scored shimmer card base that has a matching shimmer envelope.

Hibiscus Greetings

After making a wedding card for a friend, I had strips of pearlized paper left over and I wondered what it would look like if I did some ink blending over it. What I quickly realized is that it not only easy to ink blend over this slick type and the color is quick to show up!!!! I only used three colors to make this rainbow of 6 colors.

The Distress Oxide inks I used were Picked Raspberry, Fossilized Amber and Mermaid Lagoon. But with a little blending, I was able to pull out a mid town of a peachy orange, green and violet colors. And it took little effort! After letting the paper dry, I took the time to cut out multiple hibiscus flowers from the Hibiscus Die Set that you can find HERE. This set includes the flower, stamen and the leaves as well.

This picture captures both the rainbow of colors and that it is cut out of pearlized paper. All flower images here propped up on double sided foam tape on this 4″ square card base and glued down the stamen and leaves with my Nuvo deluxe adhesive (which I am really loving.)

The “Yay” sentiment comes from the Newton’s Nook stamp set of “Birthday Essentials” that can be bought HERE. I finished the card off with a few gold and clear iridescent gems.
