Word Art Wednesday~Challenge #386-387

First I would like to thank Karen (Administrator of Word Art Wednesday) for inviting me the pleasure of being a guest designer for the month of May!!!  Secondly, I want to wish all of the women who stop by and wish you a Happy Mother’s day. (All women 🙂 )

When I had read this challenges verse, I could honestly say that not only is it true but it critical!  When we spend time getting to know our Father, then we know His character, love and grace for us, His children.  Now you may say, how can you so easily say that!  Last year, our lives were turned upside down and we are still walking through a trial but it has only been by the grace of God and knowing who He is that has kept my husband and I able to move forward everyday.  So please go to Isaiah 54:13 and ponder this truth!

My first thought was that I finally get to use this lovely stamp by W Plus 9 that my dear friend Penny gave me a few years ago.  I colored it in with Spectrum Noir and copic markers and wanted to have the background reflect the green and pink theme (I’m not sure why her dress leans to a dark yellow.)  The floral pattern paper was distressed with my Distress Oxide, Iced Spruce.  Then I die cut the verse out with a scalloped square die and  used the same die to cut out the pink pattern paper and offset them from each other.  The card was missing something and so I added this pink and green ribbon.
