You’ve Got Mail

A couple of days ago a friend posted the need for cards for those who are undergoing radiation treatment and how it brightens up their day!  And here I have been participating in various challenges and knew that this was my chance to give back to these people so the following card I had made in duplicate and felt it was generic enough that it could go to a guy or a gal!  This is made with two challenges in mind.  The first is for Newton’s Nook who is doing a challenge around doilies!

And so this time my doily was dyed green and made into a “Grassy hill”.  I stamped Newton onto the card base and colored him in with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.  I added some premade flowers from my stash and posted the sentiment on this plaid paper.

I may not see the reactions to those who receive the cards but I do know that sharing in a new way is wonderful!!  The other challenge is for Simon Says Stamps that is featuring Newton’s Nook this week and the challenge is anything goes!  So I am sure this a great one to go with anything for any occasion “wink-wink”.
