Coffee & Spring

This Spring is always welcomed but especially after having so much snow for so long here in this part of Oregon!  We had heard that there had not been this kind of snow in 30 years but one way that fueled my mornings was coffee and the nights we were kept warm with hot tea!  Even though Spring is here, coffee is always the way I start my morning!  Today I am bringing a card that is no surprise.. another shaker card but this time, the inside screams spring with leaves and bird confetti!  Oh, and glitter of course!  This is my forth entry into this Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  A personal best!!!

Today my card was over all fairly simple.  I colored my little Newton with Zig Color Clean Real Brush Markers on Bristol Paper and used my Sizzix Die to cut him out and because this is not a nesting die.  I traced around the outside of the die and cut it out to give it the look like I did with this green card stock.  The acetate is by K&C Company and they are pre-printed with all kinds of various Spring like designs.  In order to have the border of the acetate stand out, I taped behind it a yellow cutout border of cardstock.  The shaker bits are some leaves  & birds confetti with some star sequence.  And Newton here is from the Newtons Nook set Newton Loves Coffee that I have used so many times in so many ways!!!  A favorite of mine.
